BCBC SYSTEMATIC CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CERTIFICATED PROGRAMS
The purpose of the Systematic Christian Education Certificated Program is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Among those who benefit most from these programs are Christian education leaders, Bible study leaders, Evangelism trainers, Sunday School Teachers or anyone who wants to be prepared becoming more effective in the service of our Lord
CERTIFICATED PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Students must complete eighteen (18) quarter core units as well as the required and elective quarter units as prescribed in the selected area of study. The Systematic Christian Education Certificated Program is offered in two (2) areas of studies: Systematic Biblical Studies, and Ministry and Leadership Skills.

The Systematic Ministry and Leadership Skills Certificated Program will prepare members of the church body to become effective spiritual leaders within their local church ministries.

The Systematic Biblical Studies Certificated Program is a survey and study of the Bible. Consideration is given to the respective writers and their writing, the purpose, outline, main content, and leading features.

INFORMATION SERVICES
INFORMATION SERVICES CERTIFICATED PROGRAM (12 UNITS)
The Information Services program provides the student with a strong technical foundation for entry-level job skills in data and word processing. The certificate will be awarded to the student who successfully completes twelve (12) units of the prescribed course of study. Units earned may be applied towards the Systematic Christian Education Certificated Programs.

ACADEMIC BEHAVIOR
Honesty and integrity is expected from all BCBC students at all times. Each student is expected to uphold and demonstrate the highest standards of academic honesty during his/her academic experience. Academic honesty and integrity includes the absence of the following:
- Plagiarism in any form
- Copying from another student’s assignments and/or examinations
- Using false resources
- Missing examinations or failing to complete assignments/projects with intent
- Submitting another student’s work as your own work for the same or another class
- Giving examination materials/information to another student outside or during class time without the permission of the instructor.
GRADUATION APPLICATION
Students must submit a petition for graduation by the end of the Fall quarter in the year he/she anticipates graduation.
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
BCBC welcomes students who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior and has a desire to (1) learn more about God’s Word and (2) elevate their personal and spiritual growth.
A maximum of ten (10) units of related courses may be transferred from another Bible-teaching institution. Classes taken more than seven (7) years prior will not be accepted. After successful completion of one (1) quarter of course work, new students should meet with an academic advisor to plan a course of study.
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
After successful completion of one (1) quarter of course work, students who have submitted an application for the Certificated Program will be notified of acceptance by mail. Upon receipt of the acceptance letter, students should meet with an advisor to determine a course of study for completion of the Certificated Program.
ACADEMIC STANDARDS
The Certificated Program requires students to maintain a (C+) average (2.5) GPA or better in overall course work. It is recommended that prospective teachers maintain a “B” average (3.0) GPA or better in overall course work.
